Regarding the issue of font not being able to be changed after SimpleTex formula recognition
- Reason: Not all fonts installed on the Windows system are compatible with Word formula fonts. Word formula fonts must be supported Opentype Math format standard fonts, Word usually only has two default formula fonts installed, so other fonts that do not support Opentype are used Modifying the font of formulas using the Math format standard font is unsuccessful;
- solution
Paste into MathType and then use MathType to modify the font. Please search on Baidu or Google for specific operation methods;
Install fonts that support the Opentype Math format standard, and then follow these steps:
Step one, install the Word formula font (search for Erewhon Math font on Baidu or Google and download it), and copy all font files(format:otf) to the C:/windows/fonts directory;
- Operation method
Step one, install the fonts in the attachment, unzip the compressed file, and copy all font files to C:/ Windows/fonts directory;
Step 2, open Word, select the formula, operate according to the image, and set the default formula font of the document to the desired font (it is recommended to set the font Erephon Math as the default value, which is closest to the Times New Roman font). This way, all formula fonts in the future will be set to the default font Erephon Math;
After the first step mentioned above, you can directly select the corresponding installed Word formula font to change the font after selecting the formula.
